2K, the publisher for Civilization VI, contracted myself and a few of my colleagues to assist in the marketing campaign for their upcoming DLC. The rollout plan would begin in November 2022, and finish in March 2023.
We worked directly with 2K's marketing and social departments, as well as the game developers at Firaxis to concept and design all of the static and motion assets.
Alongside the social marketing, we produced videos detailing the characters and their traits in the DLC. I assisted with the general look of the videos and the layout of the information presented throughout.
With the videos, I was tasked to create the thumbnail suite for social media covers and YouTube.
This project also contained the creation of assets for Steam, the primary distribution hub for Civilization. I used Valve image guidelines to create these deliverables.
